The Virtual Orchestra (2016) A virtual reality film recording of the Philharmonia Orchestra performing Sibelius’ 5th Symphony (3rd Movement) at the Royal Festival Hall in London.
The Virtual Orchestra was the first virtual reality film created by a UK orchestra and was recorded with binaural audio. The film won the Raindance award for Best Music Virtual Reality experience.
In my role as Digital Production Manager at Philharmonia I oversaw the process of releasing the film onto the Sony Playstation PSVR platform.
I also adapted the virtual reality film for touring and managed tours to Ravinia Festival, Chicago and Southbank Centre, London.
